The Role Objective 

·         As our new Talent Manager, you will be working as part of the UK People team, sourcing & hiring top talent for our award-winning media agencies (GroupM, MediaCom, Wavemaker, Mindshare, m/Six and Essence). 

·         80% of your role will be working as part of the high-volume hiring team to identify and recruit through assessment centres for a wide variety of entry level positions across the business (Digital, Investment, Client Services, Marketing, Data and Analytics). 

·         20% of you role will be to lead on the design and implementation of a consistent pipeline of analytical (data) future talent  across the network, offering a consultative approach working closely with Talent Development, Finance and business unit leaders to identify, design and implement programs that will build sustainable pipelines of future focused analytical talent.

·         This will include working with OpCo HR leadership to identify other opportunities to utilise high volume recruitment methods to unlock alternative talent pipelines for more experienced level positions and reduce time to hire.

·         This will be a varied and exciting role that will require you to partner with hiring managers, understanding their needs, defining requirements and delivering a variety of high-quality, diverse, virtual and in person group assessment processes. You will also lead from the front in terms of delivering a top-class candidate experience, while keeping your timelines and KPIs in mind. 

·         You will also impact the Talent Delivery Centre of Excellence by working on different projects to drive the function forward.

 Key Responsibilities 

·         Partner with managers to understand their needs and define effective high-volume resourcing strategies.

·         Proactively develop quality talent pipelines for business-critical skill types (i.e. digital, data & analytics, client services) for entry level positions.

·         Own the recruitment process for each assessment program you are recruiting for: CV and video screening, planning necessary interviews and assessments for successful applicants, provide constructive feedback to candidates, reference check, contracts etc.

·         Ensure a structured and smooth recruitment process, both for the hiring managers, ensuring that every stakeholder is fully trained to fairly assess talent in line with our D&I commitments.

·         Ensure strong diversity and inclusion practices throughout our recruitment process, supporting and encouraging managers when needed.

·         Be an expert user of our recruitment software, Jobvite, virtual recruitment tech, ensuring all necessary information is recorded as well as high levels of data integrity.

·         Be an expert in understanding where to source for hi-potential analytical Talent work with your talent lead and the Talent delivery Partner to identify and nurture a leading preferred list of schools, training organisations and providers to ensure data lead careers are a destination career choice.

·         Work with OpCo management managers to always improve and update the volume assessment recruitment process.

·         Understand the needs of the business, how it impacts the Talent/People function and vice versa.

Who you are:

·         Have a background in Talent Acquisition / in-house recruitment / HR / Training.

·         You have experience in managing all stages of the recruitment process, from advertisement to offer.

·         You have experience of working with third party providers to design and implement solutions that meet an organisations future talent pipeline need

·         You seek to work in a high-performance environment, comfortable working to agreed performance metrics and within a supportive, team focused culture.

·         You are a great communicator, who forges strong relationships with your stakeholders, demonstrating emotional intelligence.
