Job Title

  • Activation Exec - WW Activation Hub

Reporting to:

  • Activation Manager – WW Activation Hub

Role Context:

Working collaboratively with the account director and account manager as well as several other internal stakeholders, the candidate will support in the delivery of planning, buying and optimizations across digital media channels including programmatic and social.

The successful candidate will be working across one of Wavemakers biggest clients. The client is a market leading tech and software company, that is heavily focused on driving innovation within there media.

The account offers a strong opportunity to build expertise across a wide range of digital channels, with the clients open to testing and learning from new platforms, audiences, and tactics.


  • Assisting the Account Manager on responses to briefs
  • Campaign setup and optimization across digital media channels including programmatic and paid social
  • Supporting the management, reporting and optimisation of campaign activity across European markets
  • Delivery of day-to-day QA process across all media activation, minimizing errors and ensuring consistent and accurate adherence to process
  • Working with the activation manager to deliver insights within campaign reporting, ensuring timely, insightful, performance focused analysis and actionable insights
  • Direct client servicing exposure with regular contact via weekly status and reporting calls
  • Responsible for daily budget and performance checks to ensure campaigns are running on target
  • Working in partnership with the adops team to deploy the campaign setup requirements across digital channels
  • Management of financial bookings and reconciliations across campaigns within Wavemakers financial booking system Prisma
  • Contribute to materials required for regular internal and client meetings
  • Meeting with key media partners to build understanding of the digital landscape, and how each partner can play a role in media activation.


The Candidate:

  • Experience in digital media, ideally from an agency side background preferred
  • Hands on Programmatic or paid social experience is beneficial
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is critical
  • All academic backgrounds will be considered
  • Professional digital media/advertising qualifications will be advantageous
  • Any digital media experience e.g freelance or personal projects. will also be of interest
  • A pro-active attitude to learn new things and be positive about taking on new challenges
