Role: Commercial Finance AnalystDepartment/Team: UK Finance Team

Role Objective

We’re looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to become part of the Mindshare UK finance team, reporting to the Finance & Compliance Manager.  This is a key role, with an overriding objective to help ensure that the agency is complying with all aspects of its contractual commitments. This includes working with various teams to ensure contractual compliance and notifications to clients are managed accurately and in a timely manner.

Core Responsibilities
 

Client compliance:

  • Assist in preparing client pass back’s in line with our contracts, client notifications and declarations to clients and/ or global commercial finance teams.
  • Ensuring the system setup of new clients and changes to existing clients are as per client agreements.
  • Work to reduce the Media accruals by resolving Media Supplier queries within the Client Teams.
  • Reviewing details for individual media accruals prior to any Contractual Compliance returns are made to reduce potential risk to our business.

 

Client audits:

  • To assist with client audits liaising with third party audit firms.
  • Prepare and organise supporting documentation and audit information requests.
  • Ensure we are compliant with our client contracts flagging as soon as possible any potential red flags.
  • Ensure post-audit remediation plans are executed and ensure any changes are communicated to the relevant account teams immediately. 

 

Other:

  • Communicate to the agency/to appropriate personnel any new financial and commercial group policies and ensure these are being implemented.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of Monthly reporting for all OMI.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of Balance sheet monthly reposting for OMI.
  • Ensure we comply with SOX controls.

 

About you

 

  • Ability to manage different stakeholders, with the gravitas and self-confidence to ensure that common objectives are met.
  • First class communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Desire to work collaboratively and establish and maintain internal and external networks.
  • Proficient user of MS Excel
  • Mediaocean system knowledge.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work well under pressure, the ability to problem solve and meet tight deadlines.
  • Studying towards professional qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA
