Role :
The International Account Manager will work closely with the Global Business Director to manage the day-to-day running of the account, provide solutions that meet high agency standards and client expectations.
Key Role and Responsibilities
1- Client & Account Management
- Manage day-to-day contact with client teams and help grow relationships
- Coordinate different GroupM specialists to deliver a range of media marketing services to the international clients, own the media planning, buying and implementation process of the global or pan regional campaigns
- Demonstrate strong interest in all media, answer the client questions on all media channels (TV, Digital, Press, Radio, OOH) and help them understand the key elements in the media planning
- Develop and cultivate relationships with internal GroupM specialists, the media partners along with the clients, to ensure that the client expectations are consistently being met
- Responsible for the flawless implementation of all administrative tasks è perfect knowledge and mastering of MediaManager (to input PO numbers as well as quotations if needed)
- Responsible for the good coordination of the other 2 account teams working for other TotalEnergies entities within Wavemaker.
2- Client Planning & Buying
- Contribute to developing media strategies that deliver against client objectives under Global Business Director’s supervision
- According to the client briefs, brief GroupM teams to deliver strategic recommendations and optimized media plans or activate campaigns directly with international media partners if applicable
- Be the day-to-day contact for the operational delivery responsibility of the client's campaigns and manage planning process, timings and budgets with client and GroupM teams or GroupM local agencies
3- Management
- Provide support with the organization of the Apprentice’s time and workload, help them to prioritize tasks and meet the deadlines
- Responsible for the quality of the deliverables produced by the Apprentice
- Oversee the Apprentice’s work on the international media reporting tool
- Support the Apprentice with up-skilling as required
4- Operational Reporting & Finance
- Responsible for timely and error free budget/status reporting and invoicing to the clients
- Ensure the accuracy of the media plans on the reporting platform with the local market or central campaign realities (with the Apprentice’s help)
- Prepare the weekly client meeting agendas and minutes after the meetings and make sure all stakeholders within WM fill in the worklist before each meeting
The Knowledge and Skills Needed
- Strong operational campaign management experience across different media
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Good time management skills, flawless execution, accuracy and attention to detail
- Hands on, problem solver, autonomous use
- Excellent verbal and written skills
