You will collaborate with other data scientists as well as the members of the Choreograph’s Audience Origin and Fusion as a Service (FaaS) team to help improve and enrich data and additional offerings.  The main goal for this role is to develop and scale out GDT’s data services and products, which covers data ascription, augmentation and fusion.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Potentially lead a team of data scientists working on data ascription, augmentation, and fusion
  • Actively explore and identify the latest techniques related to fusion and ascription 
  • Designing, developing and implementing the model tests to ensure methodological fit for the project needs 
  • Understand advantages and limitations of different methodologies and ensure quality of results is met
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in bringing together numerous disparate data sources

 

Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and management
  • Experience analysing large volumes of data (5+ years)
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong statistical knowledge, as well as interest in applying them to complex problems
  • Good knowledge of main ML algorithms
  • Programming proficiency in Python (5+ years)
  • Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • A passion for empirical research and for answering hard questions with data
  • A flexible analytic approach that allows for results at varying levels of precision
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
