  • Laura-Louise Cooper – Planning Account Director

 

Role context:

 

As an Account Executive you will support the Account Director and the planning team to ensure operational excellence across client business. This means assisting in all areas of day-to-day campaign management from initial brief to post campaign performance reviews.  You will maintain exemplary standards in internal management and coordination, proactively and progressively take ownership of tasks and maintain a constant dialogue with the planning and activation teams to ensure client service expectations are met and delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Account Director in delivery of responses to client requests and briefs in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with planning, data & analytics and activation teams to deliver on client requirements.
  • Assist in the planning and activation of local, regional and national campaigns for Morrisons across all active channels.
  • Schedule management, from initial creation to ongoing maintenance (accounting for any changes or updates).
  • Have a deep understanding of client’s business, brands, sector, competitors, and audiences.
  • Lead management and delivery of regular regional client status.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of client presentations.
  • Develop an understanding of financial and commercial awareness including client profitability.
  • Ensure financial management processes are followed to a high standard. Invoices are raised on time, PO trackers are maintained, payments are made by clients on time, reconciliations are completed, invoice queries are addressed etc.
  • Manage and prioritise your workload.
  • Be fully prepared for all internal and external meetings.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, media owners, the Wavemaker planning team, the broader Wavemaker community and our client’s other agencies (i.e. creative).
  • Fully immerse yourself in the Wavemaker tools and systems including WMOS, INCA, iDOOH and Xaxis ensuring you have a strong understanding.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Have a basic understanding of the role of each media within the purchase journey.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding client service.
  • Be curious.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident user of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong numeracy skills.
  • Time management and prioritisation of workload.
  • Experience using industry tools such as AdDynamix, MXStats, Media Explorer etc... (preferred but not essential)
