Associate Director – Indeed

 

Overview of role

 

We’re looking for an Associate Director to lead the day-to-day planning on Indeed. Working with our local UK client closely, you will develop media plans that improve the perception of Indeed amongst the labour force, especially amongst the 18–34-year-old audience. You will also implement media solutions to encourage small businesses to promote their job vacancies on Indeed’s hiring platform. Indeed is an important account as they are one of MediaCom’s fastest growing global clients in terms of revenue.

 

Your role will also be to deputise for the Business Director when they arent available. Your responsibilities will include account-management, strategic planning, implementation excellence and first-class measurement. You’ll have regular exposure to MediaCom US and all key MediaCom UK contacts.

1.You will have contact with our most senior UK Indeed client who works with us as if he is ‘part of our team’ in a fluid and deeply collaborative way

2.The role sits within a new multifaceted team. You will be supported by comms planners, a CID’er, offline and online media specialist teams and a dedicated analytics manager.

3.You can act with agility and single-mindedness. Indeed don’t have a hierarchy of approvers. You are empowered to do great media planning to reach one single goal with our local client

Measures of success

 

In three months, you would have:

  • An established working relationship with the Director, junior planners and investment leads.
  • Trust from your client – you proactively build relationships and listen to their challenges.

 

In six months, you would have:

  • Delivered a continually evolved media-planning product – a combination of curiosity, bravery and exploration of new information leads you to suggest new media tests.

 

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Been able to show you can lead the annual planning process and product in front of the client

 

 

Responsibilities of the role

 

  • Set overall direction for annual media strategies (with BD and AV AD) – Planning
  • Implement new media experiments with all specialist teams - Innovation 
  • Co-lead thought leadership sessions that inspires new media approaches - Inspiration
  • Brilliant Basics: lead status meetings and create internal task squads in an agile way – Smart Operator
  • Ensure detail, accuracy and quality of all deliverables - Quality Assurance

What you will need

 

  • Media planning nous and a knack for building bullet-proof recommendations
  • A curious, enthusiastic, and collaborative nature
  • The ability to balance other opinions as well as your own when forming recommendations
  • Strong organisation – you’re proactive and not afraid to push things on if delays occur
