Overview of the Job

 

The Data & Analytics Director will be responsible for the overall strategy across the Analytics, AdTechnology and Data Solutions functions, working closely with the respective subject matter experts in developing best practice & process programs to a Tier 1 client.

This person will be viewed as a thought leader across the data & technology landscape, who key stakeholders look to for guidance on industry trends and topics and is someone who can represent Mindshare in the industry within their respective markets. The lead should have extensive relationships with key technology partners at a senior level with the ability to extract value from these partnerships.

The position requires a high degree of engagement, working with the Client directly as well as the wider GroupM Analytics team

 Responsibilities of the role:

  • Accountable for quantifying and measuring the success of our executions and for delivering insights that enable us to innovate the work we deliver at Mindshare. Leading and supporting multi project, be involved in external reviews if needed, developing Mindshare new analytical tools.
  • Develop internal programs covering processes, documentation, and best practices to ensure team outputs adhere to client SLA’s.
  • Partner with Agency Technology leads in market, to review industry trends and agency opportunities within data & tech for activation.
  • Design, ‘package’ & propose scalable Data & Tech activation solutions for agency and clients.
  • Build a deep understanding of marketing plans and their objectives to help account teams build comprehensive measurement, and test & learn plans
  • Assist clients with objective setting for marketing plans
  • Play an instrumental role in evolving and designing new, innovative measurement tools. Managing the process through to delivery and take ownership of global roll out
  • Oversee the creation of clear and robust campaign reporting with valuable and actionable insights
  • Deliver knowledge sharing sessions to the client on industry data & technology developments.
  • Represent Mindshare at industry events and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Be the key POC for your client
  • Provide training & support the team directors in both their responsibilities and developing new capabilities to become a future leader.
  • Any other ad-hoc projects or tasks relevant to the position.
  • Build a great working relationship with your team and market teams, operating seamlessly together to deliver success for our clients, across the briefing, booking, set up, optimization and reporting processes.

 What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field (Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics)
  • 7+ years related work experience in a relevant field. You’ll require a broad knowledge across Technology, Analytics and Client solutions consulting.
  • 5+ leadership experience, developing cross functional teams of subject matter experts in their respective fields.
  • Expert knowledge across the AdTech/Martech industry & landscape.
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing channels (specifically search, social & programmatic) & digital media metrics
  • Extensive operational and program management capabilities who has led large-scale cross-functional projects & process improvements
  • Highly skilled relationship builder, with the ability to engage & influence stakeholders of all levels.
  • Demonstrated Strategic thinker who can develop scalable, measurable solutions to address business challenges.
  • Advanced communication skills, with experience representing organisations at industry events.
  • Exceptionally strong experience in partner management, working with key partners to co-develop business opportunities.
  • Flexibility to work in a cross-functional team but also have the initiative to problem solve independently
  • The following will be highly regarded:
  • Previous experience in a Management Consulting capacity.
  • Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Membership in an industry trade organization.
