Job Title; Account Manager, Programmatic Display & Print

The Opportunity

  • An Account Manager in the Outcomes Display team is responsible for each stage of planning and buying digital display, programmatic & print activity across multiple clients
  • In Outcomes Display we encourage creative thinking so this means identifying new opportunities and constantly working with clients and media owners to bring new and innovate ideas to life
  • This will involve working in partnership with some of the most prolific media owners in the market – Captify, Verizon, The Trade Desk, Google, Teads, Mail Metro Media, Guardian, Hearst as an example
  • It’s varied role, comprising not only planning, implementation and evaluation of clients’ media activity, but overseeing reporting output, ensuring continuity of the agency’s financial processes, managing client and media owner relationships, attending meetings, and contributing to the quality of the team’s output
  • This means juggling lots of different tasks and sometimes working to multiple deadlines
  • The role offers considerable autonomy, as you won’t be micro-managed, so there’s a lot of responsibility!
  • The Account Manager is also responsible for the line management of the Account Executives and Apprentices working on their accounts. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee their day-to-day work and manage their ongoing career development, as well as supporting the Business Director in assessment of their quarterly performance. With Apprentices this includes liaising with the apprentice’s learning provider and regularly providing feedback on their educational development

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and buying clients’ digital campaigns – print in some instances
  • Identifying and pursuing creative opportunities
  • Negotiating media costs
  • Using a mixture of Industry tools and Mindshare specific systems (eg. Prisma, Double Click, Sizmek, Nielsen, Telmar)
  • Monitoring Performance and delivering effective optimisations
  • Overseeing reporting and trafficking and the creation of Post Campaign Analysis
  • Presenting in client meetings
  • Ensuring accuracy of booking and billing

Your experience to date

Two years’ media agency experience , working in digital (print is a plus!)

About the Team

The Outcomes team forms part of the wider Mindshare Outcomes team which also includes Paid Search and Paid Social. Each team has its own individual requirements based on the client needs, but the ways of working and best practice are shared across all teams. The teams are responsible for planning, buying and managing Programmatic Display, Direct IO Display and print campaigns for complex global clients within the Automotive, Retail, FMCG, Finance and Technology industries.
