PPC Precision Manager

 

The PPC Precision Manager role is a key role which sits between the PPC Precision Directors and PPC Precision Executives. In very simple terms the role is to ensure our clients exceed target through best-in-class account management and optimisation.

 

The key responsibilities are:

  • Produce insight for optimisation – we want you engrossed in our clients’ business.

Not only, will you have a deep understanding of your clients’ numbers, you are comfortable with interpreting data to uncover quick win optimisations to improve our clients’ performance.

  • Ensure your accounts are always following PPC best practice – use Wavemaker's range of in-house developed tools to ensure your accounts follow industry best practice, whilst working with our PPC Leads on agency wide sprints designed to forge new best practices as new developments evolve the search landscape.
  • Develop and execute your client Unlock strategy – ‘Unlock’ is our consultancy grade auditing tool which allows us to uncover opportunities to unlock growth and develop PPC maturity for our clients. It is central to our monthly plans and you will be key in supporting your Director in running the analysis, formulating the strategy and executing the recommendations.
  • Share the results of the work we’ve done – we want you to unashamedly share the great work you have implemented. This can be to your clients on weekly calls and monthly meetings. Or to the wider department so your colleagues can take inspiration from the work you have done and implement it on their own accounts.

 

About you

There are five key things we’re looking for:

  • Technical expertise in PPC. Optimisation will be a core part of the role. Therefore, it is critical that you can confidently use various optimisation techniques and platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and SA360 to implement your optimisations.
  • You have a growth mindset. This means you are resilient with setbacks. You dedicate time to learning and training (we have tons of material) and readily apply your new knowledge to your work. And you’ll put your hands up to test the latest technology, betas and releases to innovate and improve our client’s PPC maturity.
  • Positive provocation attitude. We believe we do the best work when we are challenged to go further. Therefore. you’re excited about attaining deep knowledge of our clients’ business and having the confidence to challenge the status quo to drive better outcomes.
  • Obsessed with the basics. You’ll have experience in the day-to-day management of a PPC account. You’ll know what daily, weekly and monthly processes you would need to undertake to ensure all your accounts are in good health and following best practice.
  • Turn insights into actions. At Wavemaker we will arm you with many proprietary dashboards to unearth valuable insights about your account. In return, we want you to frequently review those dashboards and turn the insights into actions to deliver better results for your clients.
