The Role: 
WPP being the largest global, multidisciplinary, communications group, our biggest
clients collaborate with many of our agencies simultaneously, across many countries and
disciplines. The WPP Global Client Leader (GCL) teams serve as the clients’ main point of
reference for any business need they may have. They are responsible for driving WPP’s
relationship as business partner with these clients.
GCL team members are one of the most critical and senior roles within WPP. They are
tasked with setting a vision for growth for our client’s business as well as building the
high-level stakeholder relationships that will empower us to deliver it.
Located in Paris, the Global Account Director we are looking for will have a pivotal role in
the L’Oréal GCL team. They are responsible for strengthening the relationship with
L’Oréal worldwide and reaching WPP yearly growth objectives. They manage one Project
Manager and report to the L’Oréal Global Client Lead.
The Global Account Director sets their growth priorities thanks to a thorough
understanding of the client’s business strategy and master the WPP global offer in order
to identify and enable new business opportunities that anticipate L’Oréal’s needs. To do
so, they have access to WPP’s network of experts representing the brightest minds of
every creative transformation discipline, from advertising to CRM, branding, media, data
and influence.


As L’Oréal Global Account Director, you are responsible for:
• Establishing strong relationships with key clients across the L’Oréal organization to
position WPP as L’Oréal’s creative transformation partner.
• Scouting and developing growth opportunities across our existing network of
clients by spotting early trends and innovative topics that serve L’Oréal’s business
• Curating, managing and leading teams made of multiple WPP agencies and
talents to build compelling answers to RFPs and growth opportunities.
• Leveraging your strategic acumen to prepare & oversee the creation of stunning
content and presentations delivered to senior clients.
• Leading and nurturing a global community of 1000+ people working with L’Oréal
across WPP agencies to enhance mutual upskilling and global client understanding.
• Providing convincing and inspiring answers to clients’ questions by developing
and nimbly mobilizing an impeccable knowledge of WPP’s latest innovations and
remarkable capabilities.
• Feeling the pulse of the global relationship between WPP and L’Oréal across
agencies and countries in real time to unveil undeveloped local growth
opportunities and unlock cross-agencies collaborations.

Profile & Skills:
• 5/6 years of experience in strategy, consulting, account or new-business roles.
• Thorough understanding of the current marketing and communications landscape.
• Strong strategic-thinking skills and the ability to create clever, meaningful and
compelling content.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create solid relationships and earn
the clients’ trust.
• Outstanding presentation skills in both French and English
• Solution-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Expert organizational skill and rigour.
• Proven management experience in mentoring young talents.
