To gain real consumer insight, we conduct in-depth bespoke research, manage a wealth of insight tools and resources, and constantly encourage our teams to be naturally curious about their target audience’s lives.

MediaCom are looking for a curious, ambitious and self-motivated Senior Research Executive (SRE) with around four years’ research experience to join their central Global Insights team.

The successful candidate will have experience of designing and running bespoke research projects, analysing and presenting results, understanding how to meet clients’ research objectives and be comfortable discussing research techniques and results to clients and internal colleagues. Exposure to and understanding of both quantitative and qualitative approaches is preferred, as our team will run projects across both facets of research. Experience with tools such as SPSS, R and/or PowerBI will also be beneficial.

With a network of over 200 Insight experts around the world, this role will involve working with client account teams in London as well as assisting colleagues globally. Our work covers four core areas:
1. Bespoke client research projects
2. New business/Pitch support
3. New product development (NPD)
4. Talent, learning and development

Working within one of the world’s biggest media agencies can mean busy periods with short timelines, so the successful candidate will be able to meet demanding timescales whilst still maintaining top-quality insight outputs. This extends to being able to manage both internal stakeholders as well as third-party suppliers when running bespoke research projects. We expect all members of the team to be able to hold conversations about our tools and approaches with both fellow insight experts as well as other colleagues, and be a champion for our syndicated tools and subscriptions.

We are looking for someone with real enthusiasm for research work, keen to get stuck in and both learn and lead on projects from the get-go. We are recruiting for an SRE looking to further their career to Research Manager (RM) level and beyond at MediaCom, as the role will allow for exposure to some of the most senior and innovative leaders, thinking and work within the agency.
