Position at Mindshare

As a Trading Media Assistant , you will be dedicated to servicing regional and local clients, including communication with media suppliers and ability to work on certain software in general. Your primary responsibility will be to gain the trust from suppliers and manage system data entry, as well as supporting small clients as demand requires.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to trading team managers.

In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

  • Been brought up to speed on Mindshare software’s and tools and processing media bookings
  • Induction to media planning/buying fundamentals
  • Been exposed to colleagues locally & regionally, and start working on daily tasks

In six months:

  • Build communications skills & relations with key media supplier
  • Develop analytical reporting skills

In 12 months:

  • Successfully serviced your agency by keeping the VD accurate & updated
  • Built out your business relation with key media partners bringing additional Mindshare offerings/ deals


What your day job looks like at Mindshare:

  • Assist in the entering the media plan on Mindshare system and issue media bookings  
  • Establish communication with supplier and negotiate & secure the best deals for Mindshare
  • Assist in reporting market updates and communicating with media planners
  • Reports & Billing Reconciliation


What you’ll bring:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Sufficient knowledge on Qatar offline media landscape and basic understanding about media planning and/or digital planning
  • Natural curiosity and desire to learn new media, trend, and technology
  • Good knowledge of MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Project management, ability to manage multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
