International Media Planner adidas Emerging Markets hub

Responsibilities of the Role
 

The International Media Planner is the daily contact responsible for interaction and liaison between regional hub team, regional client, and local essencemediacom teams.

 

This role is focused on Regional client management, strategic media planning in close collaboration with the clusters, managing the delivery and quality of local markets and working as part of an integrated agency team.

 

The role requires working with a client team made up of a range of key disciplines that help us deliver a top-class service to adidas: Account Management, Brand strategy, Business Science, and Performance Media.

 

Reports into:

 

Regional Brand Strategy Director, part of the global adidas strategy community

 

What's expected:
 

  • Support the Brand Director to ensure that the Global media strategy is implemented across all EM markets - Strategically identify localized opportunities to push global adidas agenda. 
  • Help develop and roll out annual strategic planning guidelines
  • Support the strategy, planning, deployment, and reporting of campaigns​. Work with the clusters to support them in reaching and surpassing thresholds. 
  • Develop a trusted relationship with key client stakeholders
  • Support the creation of quarterly strategic business reviews, extracting key learnings
  • Help to grow strategic best practices across the team and network and drive sharing
  • Ensuring governance across media channels and campaign process
    • Interface with the other specialist function units across the global and regional teams

 

Who are you / Key skills and experience
 

Strategist & Media Planner

-    Proven media strategy skills with the knowledge to plan across all comms channels according to best practice

-        Strong understanding of media planning theory, media behaviours, and landscape

-   Ability to explain media strategy and talk in detail about media planning and local implementation
 

Insightful and analytical thinker, with an attention to detail

-          Good at handling data and extracting learnings and insights

-          Ability to identify weak areas of media plans and find solutions how to improve these
 

Ability to create beautiful decks!

-          adidas is highly visual, how we present work matters!

-          Need to be good at creating presentations that make the thinking and ideas clear and easy to understand!
 

Good team player

-          Collaborative, able to work within a cross-functional team and inspire, guide and manage the output
 

High energy and driven

-         Committed and passionate about what you do!

-       Striving to work on industry leading campaigns, being part of a highly functional team both in the hub and collaborating with the cluster teams

-   Highly organised with an ability to manage multiple work-streams effectively and efficiently

Additional requirements

-          Fluent English mandatory

-          International planning experience is beneficial

-          Other languages and cultural experience a major bonus!

-          Experience in project management is a bonus
