MediaCom’s Influencer Marketing team sits within Creative Systems – the award-winning content and creative department at MediaCom.

 

As Creative Systems we help our clients to See The Bigger Picture by bringing media and creative together to drive brand relevance and accelerate growth.

 

We do this by developing the most potent ideas to drive cultural relevance (from Influencer Marketing to Branded Entertainment, gaming and sports and publisher partnerships), the most integrated, addressable ideas to drive personal relevance (through our Addressable Creative and Creative Analytics offering) and the most authoritative ideas to drive platform relevance (via our SEO and Social products).

 

This is an exciting new opportunity within the specialist Influencer Marketing team, following exponential growth over the past few years.

 

We work alongside all MediaCom departments to integrate Influencer Marketing within the wider media ecosystem, across creative strategy, talent selection, campaign execution, amplification, and measurement. You’ll be working on some of the most exciting projects for major brands like Mars, Sky, LVMH, Dulux, Boots, Coca Cola, TUI, ellesse and many more.

 

Overview of role

 

We are looking for a stellar Account Director to join the Influencer division within MediaCom Creative Systems. The successful candidate will be passionate about the Influencer Marketing industry and will be leading the relationships with some of our top-tier accounts.

 

Responsible for client relationship management and campaign delivery, this person will work in the Specialist Influencer team to deliver successful end-to-end influencer marketing campaigns for a variety of leading brands.

 

 

Reporting of the role

 

This role reports to the Head of Influencer Marketing.

Measures of success

You will be recognised for brilliant campaign delivery and client growth internally and externally, with seamless campaign execution, thorough reporting, and glowing feedback. You will also be known as a go-to individual regarding Influencer Marketing recommendations and ideas across the wider team and agency.

In three months, you would have:

  • You will be fully up to speed with the internal processes for Influencer Marketing campaign management and how Creative Systems works as part of MediaCom
  • You will be leveraging our sourcing tools and your own network for making Influencer recommendations
  • You will be starting to confidently lead influencer projects
  • You will have started to develop relationships with key clients and internal agency stakeholders

 

Responsibilities of the role

 

  • Leading the delivery and reporting of new and existing campaigns for your clients
  • Using our tools to source, vet and recommend the most relevant influencers for our clients across multiple platforms including Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
  • Be a go-to person for Influencer related queries, both from clients and internal stakeholders
  • Working with influencers and agents to negotiate deals and oversee the delivery of agreed content, managing & adding value in the creative process
  • Project managing campaigns (status sheets & calls, timelines, media plans etc.)
  • Supporting the team in ad-hoc tasks (media bookings, finance, case studies etc.)
  • Liaising regularly with internal (GroupM) and external Influencer platforms and agency partners
  • Input into ideas and strategies for campaign proposals
  • Build strong client relationships to drive commercial growth
  • Keeping abreast of updates and innovations in the Influencer market

 

What you will need

 

  • Significant experience within Influencer campaign management for a brand, agency or platform
  • Demonstrable experience of client relationship management and account development, preferably with Tier 1 clients
  • A genuine interest and passion for Social & Influencer Marketing
  • Impeccable organisational skills
  • A proactive self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Confident in managing multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and handle multiple projects at one time
  • Team player but also be able to work independently
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, with previous experience of dealing with influencer marketing metrics and putting together client presentations
  • A solid understanding of Influencer Marketing measurement and reporting
  • Very comfortable and confident with numbers
  • Previous management experience preferred
