As part of the growth of the Offshore Hub Poland, we are launching a new department, the Global Engineering Center. This will support the development of our propriety systems and solutions.


We are looking for a
Junior Product Analyst

The role will work within the Global Product team, supporting the GroupM organisation and agencies with the manipulation, interpreting, analysis and presentation of the data generated by the business. This will involve working closely with the product development, technical solutions and data science teams, as well as third party engineer teams, along with the other GroupM data teams.   

The role will be based in the GroupM Hub and report to the team lead.    

We are looking for a candidate who good experience working with large sets of digital media activation data, who can demonstrate that they can produce meaningful and useful insights from the data and can present it clearly and concisely.   

Key Responsibilities: 

Data Collection and Analysis: 

  • Gathering data from various digital media platforms (e.g., social media, advertising campaigns, website analytics). 
  • Cleaning, organizing, and transforming data to ensure accuracy and consistency. 
  • Conducting analysis to derive insights and trends from the data. 

Performance Tracking and Reporting: 

  • Monitoring the performance of digital media campaigns and initiatives. 
  • Creating regular reports and dashboards to communicate key metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders. 

Data Visualization: 

  • Creating visually appealing and informative data visualizations to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner. 

Collaboration and Communication: 

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data analysis with overall business objectives. 
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. 
  • Assist senior staff with various analytic projects including testing, advanced analysis, and primary research. 


About you:  

Must-haves:  

  • Proficiency in SQL to extract and manipulate data from relational databases, ideally within Google BigQuery. 
  • Ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights. 
  • Understanding of digital media channels, technologies, and data. 
  • Extremely numerate and with knowledge of statistical concepts and methods of data analysis. 
  • Experience with data analytics tools like R, Python, Excel Data Tools.  
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio. 
  • High level of proficiency in English language. Most work is undertaken in English, for which spoken communications is particularly important, for demonstrations, requirements gathering, technical issue description and resolution. 

Nice-to-haves:  

  • Ability to work efficiently with data pipelines and databases. 
  • Strong analytical skills to manipulate and analyse large datasets from digital media sources. 
  • Working within the advertising industry, either within and agency, an advertising technology provider, or a media owner.   
  • Ability to apply advanced statistical techniques like regression analysis and hypothesis testing. 
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience in creating clear and compelling data visualizations and reports.
