Position at Mindshare

The Paid Social Executive is responsible for developing and delivering a range of Performance marketing services across the business, supporting the Performance Manager in developing Mindshare’s Performance marketing product, assisting with performance marketing strategies, delivering Paid Social campaigns, reporting and analysis. The executive is also responsible for championing performance marketing within the agency and the industry

  • Manage and launch marketing programs, projects and new channels in Paid Social (including but not limited to: Fb, IG, T, LI, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Lead on big clients’ campaigns set-up, launch, optimization and reports
  • Develop and execute Paid Social campaigns to meet and exceed revenue and traffic goals
  • Be knowledgeable with data and leverage analytics tools and resources to understand and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with Analytics team to tag campaigns so the data is pulled correctly and later audit the numbers
  • Test Beta products and provide best practises
  • Test all new social ad formats and recommend to stakeholders accordingly
  • Educate internal and external audiences on Paid Social disciplines and trends via agency and/or cross-department meetings, client meetings, etc.
  • Take initiative to help and assist in pitches or strategies/plans around future online marketing programs and opportunities
  • Has deep knowledge of Paid Social tracking and measurement strategies and tactics from implementation to reporting
  • Develop and maintain client relationships; attend, present and provide counsel at all significant agency-client media meetings when required
  • Liaise & confer with outside creative advertising agencies and marketing teams to establish media goals, objectives and strategies and implement creative media solutions
  • Invest in deep understanding of other digital disciplines such as Google, YouTube and programmatic

Knowledge and Experience 
  • Experience of agency-client relationships and familiarity with Mindshare proprietary and industry software and applications
  • Competent quantitative and analytical skills, detail oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multi-task, work successfully with teams, and work under pressure
  • Previous experience in managing multiple clients across different verticals, retail, e-commerce or local online marketing campaigns
  • Experience working with 3rd party bid management solutions and agencies (Marin, Google Adwords, social platforms’ ad managers)
  • Experience in successfully executing new marketing programs
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable with large data sets
  • Self-directed, proactive and able to define and executive projects independently
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work effectively in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments and teams
