MediaCom handles the media planning and buying for some of the world's smartest advertisers. Supported by keen consumer insight, analysis and experience, we are part of the largest media planning and buying network in the world.
We’re looking for a Senior Planner to work closely with the WEU adidas client(s) to successfully develop and manage multi-market campaigns for adidas retailer co-branded campaigns such as Foot Locker and JD Sports.
The client is eager to try new things and wants to create meaningful customer experiences through media. The role involves developing memorable campaigns that show creativity and that drive product desire.
MediaCom has responsibility for the adidas business globally and as part of the WEU Key Account Planning Team you will also need to consider how Key Account (retailer) media activities may disrupt other adidas global and local activities.
Programmatic and Social Media is bought both through centralised buying teams and on an individual basis with specific partners such as partnerships or editorial pieces with the likes of Vice, Hypebeast, Complex and High Snobiety.
Currently, wholesalers are responsible for 80% of adidas sales, this role plays in important part in adidas sales performance as well as upholding share of voice amongst other brands being distributed by key retailers. You will also have the support of a WEU strategist to create strategic direction throughout each key season – Easter, Back to School and Holiday
This is a huge opportunity to work a very exciting client with a real desire to be bold and disruptive in their advertising. Clients are based in Amsterdam; therefore, travel is required but is not frequent. There is also opportunity to get involved in adidas x Foot Locker in-store events and to scope out OOH and Experiential opportunities during store visits – both across WEU
