Department overview

A regional centre of excellence is being established to build and maintain best practices in media operations and to support the markets in delivering transformation consistently across business and technology.

The centre of excellence will be made up of programme management, change management, process ownership, business analysis and solution ownership.

The roles are spread across the region and markets forming a programme that works as one team to meet common objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reports to the lead Process Automation Consultant
  • Partner with process owners and consultants to drive standardisation, simplification and automation.
  • Define the regional development standards for robotic process automation
  • Build scalable RPA to optimise regional processes and applications
  • Manage the product backlog and roadmap for RPA and align with regional application plans.
  • Provide development support and best practice to local markets who are developing RPA
  • Partner with and manage the relationship with RPA vendor(s)
  • Maintain technical integrity of RPA for security and compliance
  • Maintain integrity of testing and business acceptance.
  • Identify metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure performance.
  • Maintain pace with industry best practices and technology trends in RPA
Key Competencies
  • 5+ years experience developing and engineering applications for a large corporation
  • Experience with one or more RPA technologies (eg. UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
  • Demonstrated project development and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in designing and deploying common solutions that support multiple markets with minimal local variance.
  • Experience working in a Centre of Excellence and/or building centralized services for cross market utilisation is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of both agile and traditional project management principles and practices with the ability to combine appropriately for product needs.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to deal with different nationalities, cultural background and conventions in EMEA.
  • Strong vendor management and contract management skills.
  • Customer and Quality orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and systematically.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Certification in Agile and/or Design Thinking is desirable.
  • Computer Science qualification or similar is essential
  • Fluent in English.
