Marketing Analyst / Econometrician

The Market Analyst / Econometrician is part of Mediacom’s Global Business Science department which provides actionable solutions and accountability to support key business decisions and increase marketing effectiveness for our Global clients.

As part of the Global team, this role involves working closely with Global clients and Global Account groups, helping to action our findings. This role sits along other key Global Mediacom units – such as the teams of Global Insights, Global tools and Systems, and Global Strategy.

Responsibilities of the role:
The role of Analyst/Econometrician involves working across all areas of an analytical/econometric project.
Responsible for data collection and processing on own projects. Supporting the team with the modelling work, identifying key insights and writing the client presentation debrief.
Keep line manager up to date with project progress.
Supporting colleagues, wider teams and building relationships.
Provide basic guidance for Graduate Analysts in the team.

What you will need:
• Market Mix Modelling, preferential
• Machine Learning skills, preferential
• Good knowledge of typical tools and techniques used in marketing analytics
• Media and Marketing industry, preferential
• Strong MS Office
• Strong E-views or other statistical software package
• Basic knowledge of programming language, preferential (VBA, SQL, Python or R etc.)
• Good presentation skills
• Ability to prioritise
• Keen attention to detail, a questioning approach
• Able to work under pressure
