About the Opportunity: Are you looking for a Sandwich placement in Planning team? Do you have an interest in understanding people and media? Well look no further, Mindshare is looking for someone who has a passion for understanding people, and the ability to ask all the right questions. Planning team play a crucial role in helping Mindshare to deliver the most innovative and effective media solutions possible for our clients. Working with Connections Planning, Account Managers are critical in the connection between the specialist teams in Mindshare, and partner agencies to ensure our process runs smoothly and our output consistently delights our clients. This role will offer you a chance to experience life at the centre of a leading media agency, by supporting the Planning team on the M&S account. Your core role will be to assist the team by producing accurate reporting and financial administration, but beyond this you will be exposed to the full agency process and have opportunities to be involved in wider media campaign development.
A Day in the Life: The day starts at 09:30 with a team catch up, here we discuss and divide up tasks for the day and check in on how everyone is getting on with various projects. I’ll then spend the morning working through competitor analysis or managing our campaign bookings. After lunch it’s off to Snapchat’s office to chat to the team there about how we’re using the platform for our upcoming campaign. We finish off the day with a client status meeting where I update brand managers on how their campaigns have been performing. The working day ends at 17:30 and more often than not there’s some kind of social event to get to.

What we’re looking for in you:
- A keen interest in the advertising industry
- Desire to develop your own personal skills and gain experience within communications
- Ability to work independently and contribute towards shared team outputs
- Meticulous attention to detail when producing reports and other documents
- A good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
