Role context:

  • Wavemaker Studio – Producer / Editor
  • We’re looking for an ambitious creative video, social media editor / content creator to work within our studio team – creating engaging marketing content on behalf of some of the UK’s most famous brands.


  • The role is designed for someone currently working with a brand, media owner or agency - who is ready for a career-defining next step.


  • The creation and delivery of engaging best in class video, social and audio content is your primary focus.


  • You’re as much of a creative as you are a technician driven to turn ideas into reality – creating work whether adaptation or origination that will stand out and move people.


Core responsibilities:

  • Your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality video content to run across all major social-media platforms – delivering engaging work for both clients and internal teams (marketing, comms, content).
  • You will support the ideation of content by either assisting colleagues in bringing their ideas to life, advising on production or creating original ideas in response to the brief.
  • You will be able to evaluate a client’s current assets and provide a response that shows how those assets could be effectively used on social media or web.
  • You will work within our Studio’s production workflow to create video and audio content - this includes original creation of imagery, video, GIFs etc along with the adaptation of current assets.
  • You will ensure that each campaign is delivered in line with the project timeline to the satisfaction of all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all video content is delivered on time, within tight deadlines, on budget and to the Studio’s benchmark of effectiveness – beautifully crafted and creatively executed to stand out on platform.
  • Pitch, plan, storyboard and collaborate on creative video projects where necessary.
  • Research imagery, music and stock video to support creative treatments and edits.
  • Work flexibly and reactively to our Studio workflow.
  • Have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends and developments in video and content across social platforms and technology / devices.


Client Servicing:

  • You will be expected to build strong, effective relationships with clients for your campaigns maintaining relationships of trust and respect.



  • Accurate and timely reporting of hours on timesheets and ensuring that work is tracked vs the scope.



  • You will work closely with, and be mentored by, the Production Lead as together you work to identify & complete training needs to make continuous improvement a priority.
  • In the day to day, you will work closely with the creative team; and colleagues from other Wavemaker teams outside of Studio to ensure all aspects of the content are delivered in an integrated fashion


Required Skills / Experience:

  • Technical proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop and After Effects.
  • A portfolio of work for brand(s), media owner(s) or creative / media agency.
  • Driven by the creation of the highest quality original creative content. 
  • Attention to detail on all pieces of work.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an enthusiastic and personable team player.
  • Experience in working with all major video platforms..  
  • Understanding of usage and clearance requirements for music, images and footage.  
  • Must be accustomed to working to tight deadlines and be extremely well organised.
