 ROLE overview:

As the Analytics Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in onboarding, supporting and developing clients on Google Analytics360 and Optimization360.  You will be responsible for ensuring that clients get the most out of their technology investments across Google’s Marketing Platform,  as well as the day to day management of client technology support.  Key focus areas will be the measurement discovery, tracking, implementation, and optimization of clients marketing web properties & channels.

Working closely with the Business Managers and WPP Agency Client Leads you will have the capability to identify commercial opportunities and work alongside Senior Consultants to develop and implement innovation and process optimization that will benefit the client and Acceleration.

You will need to be comfortable working individually, or as part of a team. You will sometimes be driving a specific stream of work that is part of a larger engagement, and at other times might be driving a single stream project more independently. 

AREA OF EXPERTIZE:

You will be a subject matter expert on Google’s Analytics360 and secondary technologies, to ensure Acceleration remains one of Google’s most trusted Partners.  You will have the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical clients alike, and the ability to interact with internal and external product management teams.

Typically Client’s biggest area of investment is media, and using data and technology, to un-lock value in this area is critical.  Demonstrative ability of the Google Marketing Platform, as well as how Google Cloud can improve marketing efforts is a strong bonus.  

IDEAL CANDIDATE: 

You will be the subject matter expert on Analytics360 and secondary technologies, to ensure Acceleration remains one of Google’s most trusted Partners, while having the ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical clients as well as the ability to interact with internal and external product management teams alike.

You will demonstrate your expertise in the Google Marketing Platform products and serve as a first-tier support contact and internal support escalation point.  The role includes supporting clients on advanced and sophisticated troubleshooting issues, supporting business development on technical pre-sales, executing upon product implementation and training, supporting solutions consulting projects, as well as partner escalation management and custom solutions development to Accelerations clients. 

You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of a variety of channels across the Google Marketing Platform – Search360, CampaignManager360, Display & Video360.   The role is client focused and requires the ability to grasp technical issues and their impact on sales opportunities within our prospecting and existing client-base. This role involves ensuring that the delivery of all work is at the highest standard, with continued participation of client and partner meetings, presentations and workshops. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate skill in digital marketing, digital measurement, web analytics, app tracking and audience strategy and possess a solid understanding of Google Marketing Platform and other conventional optimization and personalization platforms
  • Drive performance of analytics and optimization capabilities to impact overall the clients overall business results
  • Provide support other members of the team including Business Development, Account Management and Consultants assisting us to deliver upon complex solutions while upskilling others.
  • Work closely with Business Managers to identify opportunities for the business to cross-sell other technologies, services, including but not limited to data analysis, media measurement, conversion attribution and optimization, ad-tech, CRM integration using Google Cloud Platforms, marketing automation.
  • Have the ability to identify and successfully improve processes and frameworks
REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Certification and minimum of 5 years’ practical experience with a focus on Google Analytics/Analytics360, Optimize/Optimize360 and Google Tag Manager, both web and apps are essential
  • GA4 knowledge and implementation experience advantageous
  • User knowledge of other Google Marketing Platform Technologies
  • Ability to scope and deliver upon analytical and experience optimization solutions, ranging from auditing, implementation, instrumentation and reporting.
  • Demonstrative ability to be able to advise and execute upon measurement strategies, implementations, data analysis with skill to provide insights
  • Ability to present to prospects, clients and provide training to small and large audiences.
  • Experience in providing optimization recommendations
  • Experience with - A/B testing, Conversion rate Optimization strategies and personalization using Google Optimize/Optimize360
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify business recommendations, pain points and opportunities. Ability to analyse data, deliver findings while providing various actionable recommendations and customized client roadmaps
  • Clearly communicate processes, strategies and general requirements to internal and external teams.
