As a senior programmatic specialist, you are responsible for establishing strategies and arrangements that create long-term value for our joint clients. Senior Programmatic Specialist is one of our most senior operational specialists and is expected to help drive competence development of the team and, where applicable, work actively to tie together our programmatic offering with other disciplines within GroupM Nexus.

You will be part of the GroupM agencies' client teams and be responsible for the clients' programmatic strategy. In this role, you often have direct contact with advertisers, and therefore it is important that you are used to building and driving customer relationships and that you have good abilities to understand and meet the customer's needs. You have experience in preparing and presenting to customers and clearly explaining the value we add to the customer's business.

Key responsibilities:
  • Customer Development: Cultivate existing client relationships to foster mutual growth and enhanced understanding. Collaborate closely with agencies to streamline management processes for optimal efficiency.
  • Business Development: Identify and assess new business opportunities, ensuring our offerings remain sharp and competitive. Foster and manage relationships with media agencies and key clients.
  • Mentorship & Support: Act as a coach and mentor to junior staff, nurturing their understanding of programmatic operations and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Strategic Development: Drive business expansion across key clients, strategically positioning Nexus Media Solution within the media mix to drive superior results.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee programmatic campaign setups, ensuring seamless execution aligned with client objectives.

Skills and experiences:
  • 4+ of experience in programmatic advertising.
  • Proven track record in driving development for major advertisers.
  • Extensive experience in operational buying within DSPs.
  • Datadriven and business-oriented mindset.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Responsive, open-minded, with strong analytical aptitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high productivity.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication
  • In-depth understanding of the role of the channel within the customer journey.
  • Proficiency in third-party platforms, adept at driving dialogue both internally and with clients.
  • Ability to discuss the role of disciplines in the purchase funnel.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and adept at discussing potential impacts with stakeholders.
