Role Overview  

 

The Global Richemont team at GroupM Nexus is looking for an experienced account director to work on the day-to-day management of the global Richemont account.

The Global account director will be responsible for GroupM’s engagement with EssenceMediacom on a multi-market, sophisticated account and will be the primary agency-facing contact for GroupM Nexus capabilities at a global level, together with the Global Client Partner.

The purpose of the global account director role is to maintain a close relationship with the Richemont agency leads, across all the various departments (i.e. digital leads, maison leads, commercial leads etc).

The account director role is instrumental in driving client growth while also managing market coordination globally with GroupM Nexus and agency colleagues. Alongside stakeholder management, the account director role is one that helps drive adoption of GroupM Nexus capabilities (i.e. products, technology & services) both to the agency as well as to their end clients. 

Responsibilities 

 

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Manage market coordination with both regional & local GroupM Nexus market colleagues
  • Be a dedicated contact for EssenceMediacom agency partners, predominantly with their HQ team in Paris
  • Understand client’s businesses, map senior client stakeholders and decision makers and work with the agency to overcome any blocks to the utilizing the suite of GroupM Nexus solutions
  • Use consultative sales approach to uncover information to enable optimal GroupM Nexus response on client requirements
  • Operationally manage local markets
  • Be a strategic programmatic advisor for GroupM Nexus & local EMC, ensuring global operational excellence and consistency.
  • You will be the main day to day POC for EMC HQ, Richemont central clients & individual maisons clients
  • Be responsible for bringing together experts from the GroupM Nexus organization to work as a tight team to deliver on complex challenges
  • Track global investment, monitor performance and prepare aggregated reports
  • Assist with governance across reporting, business operations, SLA & pricing
  • Contribute to quarterly business reviews
  • Track performance against global KPIs
  • Be close liaison with Nexus Creative solutions to help drive creative evolution for Richemont
  • Manage the Learning agenda program through strategic alignment of Nexus solutions to drive innovation.
  • Be the touchpoint for all areas of GroupM Nexus media solutions
  • You may be required to travel to Paris, France to meet with the EMC HQ team as well as for any potential client F2F meetings 

 

Requirements /  

 

Skills & Experience 

  • Substantial proven experience working in client-facing, strategic, business-development role(s)
  • Experienced in business development with proven record of client growth and revenue monitoring
  • Experience working across multiple markets would be very beneficial
  • Thorough understanding of agency and client stakeholder management
  • Strong interpersonal skills including collaborating with wider teams within the company and external partners
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
