Job Title  Account Director                                      Department/Team Connections Planning

 

Role Objective

This role sits across three accounts – TJX, Brita and Cotswold Co.

You will be the lead planner for both Brita and Cotswold Company, determining the media strategy and working directly with senior clients. You will determine how client budgets are allocated to best respond to their business challenges and ensure plans deliver this.

Across TJX, you will partner our European media clients and local Mindshare teams, providing oversight of our European media planning. This role is a pivotal connection at the center of our EU Planning team, also working closely with our regional Strategy and Digital teams as we increasingly support TK Maxx.com.

 

About the role

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Manage campaigns as a key liaison between clients and channel specialists 
  • Lead brief responses, addressing how best to deliver on client objectives and determining strategic planning approach
  • Specify how to build and target audiences in addressable and non-addressable media and validate the approach to ensure that the defined audience can be reached at the scale required
  • Designing the connections ecosystem & plan, working closely and collaboratively with channel specialists 
  • Designing measurement & testing framework to inform as well as measure and optimise the campaigns
  • Provide bi-monthly analysis of econometrics results and recommendations for optimising media approach directly to senior clients
  • Oversee output and support development of junior planners in your team
  • Act as a point of authority for Local Mindshare teams as they develop plans for their local clients
  • Collaborate with clients and markets to deliver the planning process for annual responses
  • Represent Mindshare in cross-agency forums, working with our market teams to input on topics such as asset development, auditing and reporting

 

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent working knowledge of audience research & planning tools (such as TGI and Touchpoints)
  • Proven experience delivering campaigns from brief through to campaign analysis
  • Experience in creating holistic measurement frameworks, relevant to the brand and delivered at campaign level (setting KPIs, methods i.e. which tool/system, necessary tracking) and plans for adaptation/optimisation.
  • Experience incorporating econometrics analysis into campaign optimisations and brief responses
  • You must have experience leading senior client relationships, managing agency teams, leading and delivering client projects and tackling challenging conversations.
  • Ability to work with people across a broad range of disciplines and experience levels, taking the responsibility for working in a collaborative, inclusive way to allow specialists to contribute.
  • You demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy in every output, as well as a high degree of organisation that leads to successfully managing workflow for self and more junior members of the team.
