Planning Account Director, UBER (MAT cover, 6-month FTC)

 

Overview of role

 

The Uber team are recruiting for an exciting manager role working across both sectors of the business – Uber Rides and Uber Eats.

You will be part of one of the most interesting and innovative global brands in the network. As a manager you will be involved in all aspects of the planning process from the strategy through to implementation, across all media lines. You will be working with our regional and global colleagues ensuring the best practice is delivered consistently across the globe.

Reporting into you will be an Account Manager and Planner, who will support yourself and the wider team making sure Uber continues to thrive and innovate to stay ahead of competition.

 

 

Reporting of the role

 

You will report into 2 Senior Associate Directors (Rides and Eats)

Measures of success

 

In three months, you would have:

  • Established yourself as the go to person on the account for the UK business
  • Built strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Fully onboarded to the local, regional and global processes

In six months, you would have:

  • Worked seamlessly with the UK specialist teams and regional teams collaborating and producing great work
  • Led and inspired the junior members of the team to produce forward thinking planning solutions with clear objectives
  • Managing and owning the agreed Uber processes internally and externally

 

In 12 months, you would have:

  • Developed and owned ideas to grow the account revenue
  • Driven the Uber and Mediacom partnership forwards with great collaboration and teamwork
  • Generated great client and internal feedback on yourself and the work you produced

  • Seeking new revenue workstreams to grow the account
  • Manage EMEA and Global processes in the UK

  • Knowledge of all media and experience of end to end planning
  • Positive attitude and willingness to develop talent
