About the Role

The Client Development Manager will be responsible for positioning the INCA offering in the best possible way to our clients by delivering exceptional storytelling and response to briefs, and through engagement initiatives to both educate the agencies and clients of the benefits of influencer and content marketing. The role will be responsible for tracking and maintaining revenue pipelines for all briefs and potential opportunities.

The role will help with development of a business growth strategy to help drive revenue.

The successful candidate should be passionate about influencer marketing and content creation more broadly, and the role that can play in a client’s marketing plan and strategy.

Drive Business Growth - the primary role of the Engagement Manager is to drive growth across the INCA business. This means having a full understanding of the key benefits of the Influencer business and the commercial requirements, growth of our business depends on understanding our clients’ needs and tailoring the correct business model to each individual client . You will have experience of agency relationship management and sales process with a track record of achieving targets and goals.

Deliver a great service – our agency partners are our primary customers, you will communicate well with agency colleagues, share your knowledge, and constantly improve the reputation of INCA through your attitude and the work you do. You will articulate the value INCA solutions provides for each client whilst being able to explain the business model and best content strategy.  Work closely with Client Success team to support client proposal development that bring to bear all the benefits of our influencer marketing model.

Required Skills

Application of industry & technical knowledge – knowledge of the online advertising industry with a focus on social, content and influencer marketing, trends, technologies, and pricing models. Strong content marketing knowledge and how to use our platforms to meet client objectives. An understanding of the key businesses in the industry. Demonstrable ability to rapidly learn and articulate new value propositions. Evidence of using social platforms regularly and understanding how Instagram, YouTube and TikTok work would be preferable.

Professionalism – be well organized, able to multi-task and handle your own time effectively, and able to work to deadlines. Understanding and effective use of key business systems, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. 

Good communication – effective communication with colleagues to ensure successful teamwork. Able to explain our product offering in a compelling way to agency colleagues, and to clients. Tailoring our message to the audience to tell a conclusive story. Communicate clearly and be assertive with internal and external parties (knowing how and when to say "no")

Problem Solving - thorough approach to solving problems with resilience and energy. The candidate should have a strong sense of initiative and personal ownership and embody a work ethic with a “how can we make this happen” mindset.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Account Management team to support client proposal development that bring to bear all the benefits of our influencer marketing model
  • Building key stakeholder relationships to ensure that our influence product is a key consideration when pitching and briefing in to clients
  • Engage with multiple advertiser and agency accounts, developing positive working relationships with the media buyers, planners, and trading teams at these companies
  • Liaise with key contacts in agencies to fully articulate campaign goals, dates, and key deliverables
  • Provide high quality Response to Brief to our clients, tailored to meet their needs and which positions INCA to best deliver against client outcomes
  • Build and maintain a strategic sales plan that focusses on achieving revenue targets
  • Upsell new and existing products to your clients, growing our share of spend.
  • Engage with clients who are no longer spending to so that they begin to work with us again.
  • Support senior managers on new business wins, and develop a strong understanding of the client’s business goals and objectives which you can then share internally. Manage client expectations and position the account for success both internally and externally.
  • Generate case studies based on (agency patch) activity, working with Account Managers to access the required data and with Marketing for award entries.
  • Lead agency and client presentations that are insightful and customised to suit the needs of the audience
  • Work closely with the Global Client teams for any global clients
