Department overview

A regional centre of excellence is being established to build and maintain best practices in media operations and to support the markets in delivering transformation consistently across business and technology. 

The centre of excellence will be made up of programme management, change management, process ownership, business analysis and solution ownership. 

The roles are spread across the region and markets forming a programme that works as one team to meet common objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Overall responsibility for Media systems product roadmap
  • Oversee the EMEA Business Analysts to drive requirements standardization, simplification and improvement across the AAL media applications. Escalation point for the Business Analysts
  • Responsible for aligning with global project initiatives for media systems
  • Ensure integration of improvement initiatives across the E2E process and drive the prioritization of requirements based on business needs, resources and budget
  • Manage the vendor development roadmaps
  • Manage relationships with the vendors, including managing the release of new product functionality to markets with existing implementations of AAL systems.
  • Ensure systems are compliant with any relevant GroupM or WPP policy.
  • Ensure adherence to regional process policies/controls and perform quality reviews to monitor risks
  • Contribute as an expert in media applications
  • Work with the market’s technology equivalent role

Essential experience required
  • 8+ years product ownership and business analysis experience, with a track record of continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • Exposure in media & advertising industry is a must
  • Solid understanding of E2E media process operations including the IT environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to deal with different nationalities, cultural background and conventions in EMEA
  • Ability to manage business analysis resource in the design and implementation of media systems
  • Customer and Quality orientation
  • Ability to work independently and systematically
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Business fluent in English
