Role Summary and Impact

As a Global Planning Manager, you’ll lead the development and delivery of multi-market media strategies for one of our top-tier clients. You will be responsible for shaping insight-led communications strategies, collaborating with local market teams, and ensuring campaign consistency and effectiveness across regions.

This is a pivotal role for someone with strong cross-channel planning experience, who’s confident communicating with senior clients and turning data into strategic recommendations that drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning across multi-market campaigns, ensuring global consistency with local market flexibility
  • Conduct audience and category research to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy
  • Evaluate and recommend media channels across the full funnel (TV, digital, social, OOH, retail media, etc.)
  • Translate client briefs into clear, actionable strategies aligned with brand and performance goals
  • Work closely with analytics and activation teams to assess performance and evolve planning
  • Guide and support local markets during campaign planning, execution and post-campaign reviews
  • Present strategic thinking to clients with clarity and confidence – both in writing and in meetings
  • Produce high-quality planning materials, frameworks, and toolkits for global rollout
  • Identify opportunities to innovate through tools, data, partnerships or technology
  • Stay up to date with media and category trends to proactively advise clients

What We’re Looking For:

  • Media planning experience, ideally in a global or multi-market capacity
  • Broad channel understanding, with experience across digital and offline media
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to distil data into strategic insight
  • Proven ability to build compelling narratives and present to senior clients
  • Collaborative and confident working with multiple stakeholders across markets and specialisms
  • Comfortable navigating complexity in large organisations and global campaign structures
  • Experience with audience research tools and planning platforms (e.g. TGI, Global Web Index, Touchpoints, etc.)
  • An enthusiastic self-starter with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for media innovation.
