JOB TITLE: Account Executive

DEPARTMENT/TEAM: PLUS, Chanel

LOCATION: Central St Giles, London

 

PLUS is a bespoke, global agency created exclusively for CHANEL by WPP.  It is focused on bringing about a step-change in CHANEL’s global, regional and local communications, by drawing upon the best talent and resource from across WPP.

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion and interest in the luxury market. Of all accounts, sharing the enthusiasm and commitment of the client media team is essential.

 

This role is a unique position, as it is focused in the PLUS team which handles the CHANEL account, but also connects into the wider Outcomes team at Mindshare.  The role principally spans UK and Ireland print and digital buying. You will be working with magazine and national press partners, as well as digital-first providers.

 

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

          Assist in all areas of day-to-day print and digital campaign management to meet clients’ business objectives and KPIs - from initial brief, constructing a plan, negotiating, and buying space, to post-campaign performance reviews

          Manage day-to-day delivery of print and digital media and the associated administration - compiling weekly client reports, regular campaign optimisation, live checks, vouching, analyse data and report on trends, media owner requests and issues, resolving straightforward campaign delivery issues or problems

          Learn and demonstrate a thorough understanding of all planning tools – including AdDynamix, Telmar and PAMCo

          Contribute to and present implementational plans and campaign results both internally and externally, working closely with other disciplines within the agency

          Ensure that all media buys are reconciled and print bookings are vouched within agency window of five working days

          Ensure that campaign naming convention is adhered to across excel plans, adserver and Prisma

          Assist in the management of all billing/invoicing requirements for the client

          Assist the wider team on creative delivery, liaising with Mindshare Ad Ops team and implementation of digital tags with publishers.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

          Bachelor’s Degree

          Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential

          Ability to prioritize and organize workload

          Strong people skills

          Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point

          Previous experience in a digital media buying role would be preferred
