Role purpose:

A role exists within Mindshare Outcomes within a growing SEO specialist team. We are looking for a SEO Account Executive who will play an instrumental role in contributing to our offering by taking the initiative to provide insights and work collaboratively with a team of SEO AMs and ADs supporting the overall account management and long-term KPIs for the client. In this role, you will also work closely with other Account Executives on a knowledge sharing basis to further your development.

We do this by continually seeking and finding the perfect connection between their products and potential customers through Programmatic, Search and Social platforms. 

The Role:

The candidate will report to the SEO Account Manager.  Working within the Mindshare Outcomes SEO team, they will be integral to achieving client goals by developing and optimising SEO activities as part of integrated multi-channel campaigns. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for digital media and be keen to develop a career within SEO.  They should be able to articulate key features and benefits of SEO.


Key skills & knowledge:

-          Analytically minded, with the ability to identify trends and patterns within data sets

-          Proactive in improving their knowledge and capability

-          Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills

-          Able to communicate effectively, and work as part of a team

-          Experience using basic features of PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel (E.g., Creating and formatting PowerPoint presentations, sorting and filtering data, creating graphs and tables)

-          Basic technical SEO knowledge & skillset with an understanding of audit tools such as Screaming Frog & DeepCrawl etc, would be an advantage but training will be offered

-          Basic understanding of keyword ranking tools with the ability to draw insights where necessary



Principal responsibilities:



  • Carry out extensive keyword research to identify SEO search landscape opportunities for clients
  • Obtain and understand crawl data, using audit tools to identify technical SEO status of client’s website and provide best practice recommendations with Account Manager’s support
  • Understand your client’s key performance indicators (KPI) are and how to monitor these for their SEO performance
  • Understand how SEO metrics interrelate and can influence each other
  • Deliver client reporting and analyse results under the guidance of the Account Manager, with a view to develop actionable insights
  • Keen eye for understanding competitor’s performance and how to benchmark against them to improve client’s performance
  • Familiarise yourself with, and apply, the Mindshare Outcomes SEO best practice in order to contribute to successful execution of SEO strategies



  • Demonstrate an understanding of the components of SEO
  • Complete the necessary specialist qualification, e.g., Google Analytics and all relevant search qualification
  • Become confident in navigating the platforms required to analyse & manage SEO performance


Account management

-          Support Account Manager on client comms where necessary

-          Present recommendations to clients where necessary 

-          Exceptional execution and application of best practice.

-          Meeting and exceeding clients expectations

-          Excellent stakeholder management, supporting the Account Manager where applicable

-          Contribute to materials required for regular internal or client meetings
