ABOUT THE ROLE

The Invention team is a fundamental part of Mindshare’s offering. We are central to Mindshare’s planning function, developing and delivering creative projects across all channels. Our work encompasses everything from straight forward media partnerships through to talent associations, licensing deals and all forms of brand content and experience.

  • Collaborating with the wider agency to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Assisting in negotiating – both traditional and non-traditional media partnerships
  • Project managing the deal through to successful completion

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Full training will be given to successful applicants, but on a day-to-day basis you will be expected to:
  • Build strong, effective relationships and a close rapport with clients
  • Build excellent media owner relationships and strong relationships with day-to-day contacts
  • Develop effective relationships with internal colleagues to ensure partnerships are used effectively within the overarching client plans
  • Seek and develop new partnership solutions for clients both proactively and in answer to specific briefs
  • Proactively develop account teams’ expertise in all areas of media sponsorships and activation
  • Assist in the development and negotiation of new partnerships for clients
  • Assist in the Project management of the delivery of partnerships and activation, often working in collaboration with a number of the client’s other agencies from approval of a deal to campaign completion and delivery of PCAs
  • Develop a good understanding of all aspects of clients’ marketplace and business
  • Utilise and lead the use of the various media systems (DDS/Mintel/ Advantedge/TGI) to analyse and interpret data to inform partnership solutions
  • Observe and learn how to obtain maximum value in all media negotiations
  • Manage and prioritise your workload
  • Collect, format and interpret data relating to clients such as competitive activity
  • Enter media bookings and fee invoices on the DDS system in a timely manner.
  • Be responsible for the financial administration success of each account
  • Be responsible for the initiating sharing and circulating of inspirational content and ideas throughout the team and agency
