Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Receptionist within our Theobalds Road and Red Lion Square sites.  The successful applicant will work alongside a team of 4 Receptionists and report into the Head Receptionist. The role is a varied and busy role which requires strong interpersonal and organisational skills.

The role involves responsibility for the front of house and client meeting room areas in the MediaCom UK Head Office. Working as part of a highly skilled team, each receptionist should deliver an exceptional service whilst using innovation and to proactively multi-task in a vibrant and exciting environment.

What are the measures of success?

You are an established member of the Reception team and the wider Facilities team.  You have made the role your own and are viewed as a “go to” person for MediaCom people, our clients, and guests.

What would you expect to achieve in the first 3 months?

  • Being a key part of a highly skilled Front of House team, supporting the business to ensure a smooth and efficient client journey from arrival, during their visit and through to their departure.
  • To work successfully across multiple receptions in our Head Office maintaining a pleasant and welcoming environment for all our visitors.
  • To take responsibility for the presentation of MediaCom Front of House facilities and services, where necessary liaising with the internal Facilities to ensure our services are of a suitable standard and looking for improvements in how we work.
  • Working with MediaCom people to ensure meeting rooms and facilities are presentable and in working order for the client visit. MediaCom have extensive meeting rooms and front of house capability and the role is responsible for supporting the business in maximising the efficiency of these services.
  • Working with MediaCom people and clients to support the Hospitality delivery functions ensuring orders are placed in advance and proportionate to the numbers attending.
  • Managing client visits and meeting room bookings to minimise client conflict is an important part of this role and the success of our business.
  • Being the voice of our agency, connecting client calls to the correct individuals in a professional and efficient manner, assisting with any enquiries whilst adhering to company policies.
