JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is to lead the MW EU regional team based in London, and connecting to and working with blueprint markets of UK, Germany, France, Poland and Netherlands.
This high profile leadership role in the Mars business, would be responsible for driving the media agenda across Europe for some of the biggest brands in the World
This is a pivotal role with overall accountability for the performance and growth of the regional Mars MW business. Critical to success will be effective alignment of strategy, structure, operational delivery and resources in order to deliver performance and excellent relationship with Mars as well as motivating and inspiring confidence within both the EssenceMediacom team and with the client, this role will work collaboratively with WPP colleagues as well as external key stakeholders.
This person would be responsible for
- Strong Media Leadership - execute the full regional agenda for media and deliver regional ambitions for growth
• Transformation Acceleration – driving the transformation agenda across addressable, biddable and Integrated brand experiences across the region
• End to End Strategy & Planning – providing close partnership to regional brand leads at Mars across the end to end process, from strategy through to optimisation. Building regional strategies for some of the biggest brands in the world – Mars, Snickers, Galaxy, Extra
The core focus of this role is to lead a team of 20+ planners, channel specialists, data & analytics capability and Strategy & Operations resource to deliver a regional media model for Mars. Working alongside the Mars Europe Lead to accelerate transformation and deliver a world-class partnership with Mars

- Hold the position of trusted business partner and advocate to the client, providing advice and guidance.
Experienced Media Planner
• Proven communication planning skills, leading the development of media strategies & plans
• Strong understanding of CPG category, media behaviours and landscape
Persuasive Communicator
• You have excellent communication skills, ability to build strong relationships with clients and networks, strong at presenting
Analysis and Insight
- To guide and lead Mars by providing business relevant insights which assist in improving performance and client satisfaction.
