GroupM, within PBU (Programmatic Buying Unit), is looking for a Programmatic Supervisor

The candidate will report to the Head of Programmatic Service and will coordinate a dedicated group of programmatic specialists acting as the main agency point of contact for an international client working on a global level. He/she will act as a senior account and consultant, developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing actionable insights, and acting as key support for strategy and business development while managing budget and revenue forecasts. 


  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders (agency and client) 
  • Act as consultant, giving recommendations for new opportunities related to programmatic activities, optimization and improvement, educating agencies and clients on performance metrics, insights, and how to drive greater results
  • Support the activation team in developing cross-countries strategies at a global level
  • Evangelize programmatic solutions to ensure growth to programmatic adoption and client’s business
  • Supervise the yearly programmatic budget and manage the budget control constantly in order to estimate trends in revenue and effort
  • Always be up to date about programmatic tech environment, acting as main POC for tech-related topics and optimization best practices and recos
  • Design and implement tests to evaluate impacts of specific features / product / technologies / formats and tactics 
  • Develop effective programmatic campaign strategies based on client objectives
  • Work with all main internal and external stakeholders (tech providers, agencies and clients, sales, product, and data science teams) to develop best practices and improve flows and procedures 


  • At least 4 years of programmatic buying / biddable experience (hands-on-platforms) also including customer facing roles
  • Experience in people management as team leader
  • Excellent technical communicator – can explain tech-related topic in an easy way
  • General confidence on digital media landscape, actors, technologies, trends
  • Passion for digital adv; organized, detail oriented, highly focused, and able to meet deadlines
  • Programmatic strategy and implementation experience with proven success in optimizing products and services based on client needs
  • Knowledge of main DPSs / buying platforms (DV360 is mandatory)
  • Familiarity with analytics, brand-safety tools, tracking and attribution, reporting tools
  • Familiarity with ad servers, rich media vendors, web debugging and troubleshooting tools 
  • Excellent usage of Excel and Power Point 
  • Quick learner who loves to pick up and master new tools, platforms and solutions
  • Cool under pressure, flexible and able to concentrate in the middle of any chaos 
  • Business English as mandatory requirement
