    Wavemaker Worldwide Activation:

    Wavemaker Worldwide Activation is the digital specialist arm of the worldwide hub. It powers the digital thinking for Wavemakers largest global clients and acts as a central planning and buying team for clients who buy multimarket digital campaigns from one location. Our digital thinking brings together media, data and technology to drive business results for our clients and is directly connected to our most senior global management team offering increased opportunity for senior level exposure.

    Agency Context:

    Our clients in Worldwide Activation are split into 4 specialist category hubs. The set up of each team is specific to the client’s needs but is largely dependent on the scope of media channels.

    Client Context:

    Embark Studios are the gaming company responsible for the hit game THE FINALS which is growing quickly internationally and seeing rave reviews. Based in Sweden they have a start-up mentality and are agile and collaborative – a great, positive partner to Wavemaker.

    ELF are a global cosmetics brand seeing their profile and sales grow exponentially. Through smart targeting strategies and amazing, eye-catching creative they are cementing their place among the cosmetic heavy-hitters.

    Role Context:

    The Programmatic Account Manager will be responsible for managing and optimising campaigns and owning channel performance. While also developing programmatic plans which exceed our client’s expectations whether branding or ROI driven. ELF is very ecommerce focused with branding elements while Embark is currently mainly branding activity. Contributing to the execution of programmatic media activity you will work closely with the account directors. To execute best in class programmatic strategy whilst developing insightful commentary through data analysis.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    Campaign Management

    • Oversight of the implementation, management, and daily optimisation of campaign activity. To ensure that you excel in reaching your client objectives and KPIs
    • Competently create media plans designed to achieve specified KPIs
    • Understand the products and solutions that could be relevant for clients that have been developed within the group.
    • Take ownership of the testing plans of your clients and suggest innovative ideas for testing, including planning, executing & evaluating tests with methodical accuracy

     

    Client and Partner Management

    • Create/design programmatic strategy for client portfolio, ensuring strategy is clear and most appropriate to the client's objectives and KPIs
    • Direct client servicing exposure with regular contact via weekly calls, campaign briefings and presenting performance in detail
    • Complete client reporting and analyse campaign results extracting insight to provide recommendations for future activity
    • Develop strong relationships with media owners and other service providers to select the most appropriate suppliers for campaigns.

     

    People Management

    • Working with your line manager to ensure the effective management of more junior and global hub (India) team members, ensuring workloads are sufficiently monitored & prioritised to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Working with line manager and team leadership to help train and develop junior team members. Leading by example to motivate and encourage those with less experience.

     

    Operational Excellence

    • The appropriate use of tools to drive accountability in programmatic buying, operational efficiencies, and actionable business insights, with the scoping of agreed client outputs.
    • Ensure financial accuracy, integrating the planning and buying process, and reconciliation of spends, including client terms and programmatic fees, via buying templates and processes.
    • Support on the day-to-day QA process, minimizing errors and ensuring consistent and accurate adherence to process with both teams locally and in the Global Hub

     

    Skills & Experience

    • Passionate about programmatic activation and driving continued excellence.
    • Confidence in core trading platforms, DV360, TTD and Amazon.
    • Ability to translate technical and complex points to non-technical audiences and coach others to do the same.
    • Analytically minded with an aptitude for handling large data sets to identify trends and actionable insights
    • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive testing roadmaps in the Programmatic space – audience, media, creative
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will be particularly important in building & developing client and supplier relationships
    • Ability to communicate effectively with people from all diverse backgrounds, cultures, countries.

     

    ABOUT YOU:

    We are looking for a candidate who can display the following attributes:

    • The successful candidate should have experience working in a digital marketing or agency-based role and will need to demonstrate a track record of working with clients or external stakeholders.
    • Extensive experience setting up and optimising paid social campaigns across a number of the key DSPs eg DV360, Amazon. Training certifications in any of the key platforms would be a plus.
    • Experience planning large-scale display campaigns, preferably across a mix of brand and direct-response objectives.
    • Experience compiling detailed and insightful end of campaign reports & presentations. Knowledge of how to structure regular client review presentations (QBRs, annual reviews etc).
    • Forming strong relationships is key to the role, the ideal candidate should feel comfortable presenting to clients and leading calls as required. 
    • Teamwork is key to this role and we are looking for someone who is collaborative, friendly, and with a can-do attitude.
    • Some experience line managing individuals and/or helping to train others across paid social would be preferable.
