Global Measurement Manager

Data, Analytics & Insight Copenhagen, Denmark

Description

Position at GroupM

Are you our new Global Measurement Manager? Are you excited about managing a team of data scientists delivering incrementality studies and attribution modelling for a global client? Do you have experience managing global client relationships? If so, then you should take a look at this opportunity.

As our new Global Measurement Manager, you will lead a team consisting of four data scientists and one project manager. In this role, you will oversee a global client relationship, developing, defining, and deploying a comprehensive global measurement framework that includes incrementality tests and attribution modeling. Expect this responsibility to occupy at least 50% of your time.

Additionally, your team will collaborate closely with our Econometric Modeling team to integrate all three measurement techniques into a unified, holistic evaluation of marketing performance.

This is the job
  • Client management: Maintain weekly contact with the global client providing updates on progress and results. You engage with local clients in markets introducing test scopes of work and supporting your team when presenting results to clients.

  • Team management: You lead a team of four data scientists and one project manager. Focus is on team management tasks without HR responsibilities.
  • Delivery - Develop, Define & Deploy
Develop: Ensure that the test framework within your team is updated and aligned with market changes, including the emergence of new buying platforms, evolving data metrics, and the development of client performance KPIs.

Define: You define an annual plan for incrementality testing and attribution modeling for each market. Once the plan is approved by the client, you ensure efficient team allocation for a fast and effective deployment.

Deploy: Your team collaborates with local GroupM specialist teams in various markets to set up and execute incrementality tests and attribution modeling. You report progress to the client and adjust the plan and resources as necessary.
This is you
  • Senior Project Management Experience: 4-5 years
  • Required Expertise: Proficiency in incrementality, attribution, and econometric modelling.
  • Preferred Background: Experience as a data scientist, digital planner, or digital buyer is an advantage. You must demonstrate a solid understanding of digital measurement metrics and their implications for performance evaluations.
  • Team Management Experience: Proven ability to manage teams. This role focuses solely on project management, not HR.
  • Industry Experience: Experience with a Media Agency, Digital Performance Agency, or Research Agency is beneficial but not mandatory.
