Role Overview  

 

The Client Services Associate Director is responsible for supporting the Head of Regional in managing an agency patch to ensure the smooth operation, adherence to best practices, and successful delivery of all client campaigns. This role involves representing and championing the Client Services (CS) team, working closely with peers to foster positive cross-team collaboration, and maintaining high standards of client satisfaction and team development – all with a view to growth to both our clients and our own business.

 

 

 Responsibilities 

 

  • Team Representation: Represent and champion the CS team across Nexus Media Solutions and agencies, ensuring their interests and contributions are recognized.
  • Revenue and Margin Targets: Work with the Head of Regional to deliver business revenue and margin targets, closely monitoring the team’s daily output to maximise commercial opportunities, margin, and client profitability.
  • Compliance & Process Management: Ensure the CS team, as well as clients and the wider team, set and adhere to relevant processes. Act as a guardian of these processes both internally and externally, escalating issues to senior stakeholders as necessary – as well as improving and course correcting as needed.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with peers to ensure positive cross-team collaboration and the effectiveness of shared processes.
  • Team Development: Keep all Account Managers (AMs) and Senior Account Managers (SAMs) challenged and happy with developmental goals in place, thereby creating the best environment for staff retention.
  • Culture contributor: Engages in wider company initiatives for the benefit of the wider population.

  • Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively and maintain team motivation.
  • Commercial Awareness: Highly commercially aware and focused, with a proven track record in delivering margin, revenue, and client satisfaction.
  • Process Orientation: Process-led and detail-focused, ensuring adherence to set processes and standards.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Organisational Skills: Efficient and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
  • Proactive Attitude: Proactive and motivated, with the ability to take initiative and drive results.
  • Gravitas: Possesses gravitas and can represent and champion the CS team within the business at all levels.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding and knowledge of the AV and digital landscape.
  • Extensive Experience: Approximately 10+ years of experience in an agency or Client Service/Sales/Commercial role.
  • Team Management: Proven experience in managing a team of 3 or more, taking responsibility for their growth and development.
  • Commercial Delivery: Demonstrable experience in commercial delivery, including margin, revenue, and client satisfaction.
  • Campaign Management: Thorough knowledge of campaign planning, management, and delivery from start to completion.
  • Measurement Solutions: Understanding of measurement solutions and the ability to deliver client KPIs.
