Department overview

A regional centre of excellence is being established to build and maintain best practices in media operations and to support the markets in delivering transformation consistently across business and technology. 

The centre of excellence will be made up of programme management, change management, process ownership, business analysis and solution ownership. 

The roles are spread across the region and markets forming a programme that works as one team to meet common objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Reports into Regional Chief Information Officer.
  • Build and manage the media and finance process excellence team for EMEA.
  • Own the plan and budget for centre of excellence resources and activities.
  • Coordinate with programme management to deliver an integrated plan for business and technology transformation across the region.
  • Create and maintain operational change framework and methodology for the programme.
  • Oversee the Regional Process Owners to drive process standardization, simplification and improvement initiatives across the media and finance end-to-end process. Escalation point for the RPOs.
  • Oversee the Regional Business Process Consultants to drive best practice business analysis, workshop facilitation and requirements gathering. Build a market engagement model which is scalable, consistent and accurate.
  • Facilitate the change agenda and develop the transformation playbook and communication plan.
  • Work closely with market change owners and business sponsors to facilitate transformation and adoption.
  • Develop the framework for ongoing process improvement.
  • Maximise process alignment and best practice with APAC process owners.
  • Coordinate the training and adoption of media and finance processes with operational teams in markets.
  • Ensure adherence to regional process policies/controls and perform quality reviews to monitor risks.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to ensure solutions deliver business needs, maximise operational efficiency and are embedded effectively. Champion the voice of the customer to optimise user experience design.
Essential experience required
  • 10+ years experience delivering transformative change in a multi-national environment.
  • Extensive experience in process management and optimisation, ideally having led centres of excellence.
  • Exposure to enabling and working with business shared services is preferable.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end media and/or finance processes is preferable.
  • Extensive experience working with distributed teams and third parties with an ability to foster collaboration and drive a one team ethos.
  • Key role as a leader and motivator to a start up team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to deal with different nationalities, cultural backgrounds and conventions in EMEA.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sufficient gravitas to engage and influence C suite.
  • Customer and quality orientated.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Highly capable in designing and maintaining process management methods and best practice.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Agile and Design Thinking is beneficial.
  • Understanding of change management methods e.g. CCMP is beneficial.
  • Fluent in English.
