We have spent the last 18 months developing our global product / service offering within the marketing data space (to date having built numerous global data management / reporting solutions for some of our largest global clients and now hold a unique position to differentiate from competitors based on our existing client relationships, depth of data held on behalf of clients and our established position as a trusted partner for the provision of marketing results analysis and insights. As such, we are undertaking a significant further investment in expanding our Data Management, Business Intelligence & Visualisation teams and core technology platforms.

Position Overview

We are looking for someone to help champion digital measurement within Mindshare Worldwide.  Someone with experience in, and passion for, measurement and reporting and who wants to work with some of the biggest brands in the world, such as Unilever, Volvo, Rolex and Dyson.

The mission statement for the team is to put quality data, in a timely fashion, into the hands of people who can take informed action

The role requires a solid understanding of the media measurement across the world, and how KPIs and metrics should be reported on at both global and local levels

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the position are divided into three areas:

  • Measurement

Working with clients and client teams on a global basis to build measurement frameworks to help provide focus for media measurement

  • Data management

A key foundation of any global reporting solution is the ability to align data around a common set of naming conventions. This role will lead this workstream to consult on, and implement, taxonomy and naming convention solutions on a global basis

  • Reporting

Lead global reporting requirements consultancy to understand specific client needs and working with technology teams internally to build solutions tailored to those needs

Key Tasks

  • Working with clients and internal teams, both in London and in offices around the world, to champion robust measurement and reporting
  • Measurement framework consultancy
  • Manage a measurement and reporting sub-team
  • Work with Mindshare client teams and clients to gather requirements, design and implement central product and client specific data management and interactive reporting solutions
  • Helping clients to organise and align data across platforms, brands, categories and countries so that reporting can be scaled, and measures can be aggregated and compared.
  • Consult on and specify dashboard reporting solutions using Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and Google Data Studio
  • Provide the best practices and guidelines for managing data of different levels of reporting complexity
  • Provide hands-on support for all data related activities within the M&R Team
  • Establish and grow incremental revenue streams through measurement and reporting services

 

Knowledge and Skill Sets

  • Used and able to navigate digital buying platforms, for example, Google Campaign Manager, Sizmek, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, SA360
  • Experience with third party measurement solutions such as Nielsen DAR, Dynata Brand Lift, Platform brand lift, e.g. YouTube or Facebook
  • Analytical mindset, able to approach issues and challenges from a variety of angles
  • Highly numerate, with strong mathematical acumen
  • Advanced Excel user
  • Knowledge of Master Data Management programmes
  • Understanding of data analysis techniques and how they can be applied in the marketing context beneficial
  • Experience in data interpretation
  • Self-starter and motivator with the ability to work in an autonomous fast paced environment
  • The ability to quickly learn and understand new business environments
  • The ability to achieve high quality results by paying attention to detail
  • A proactive, “can do” attitude
  • The ability to work on multiple tasks/projects, work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines
