Senior PPC Executive- MediaCom North- Manchester

MediaCom is looking for a Senior PPC Executive to join our well established and high performing PPC department in our Manchester office. You will manage the day to day running of your PPC account and support the PPC Manager to follow the client strategy as laid out by them. As part of this role you will also help oversee the work and development of the PPC assistant so they can grow within the team and gain more confidence in managing their own smaller accounts.

The Role:

  • Ensure consistent delivery of Mediacom best practice PPC management across your client portfolio, inc. quality control of work delivered by junior team members
  • Monitor/optimise performance to ensure spend and KPIs are adhering to campaign briefs. Look for growth opportunities and escalate/respond to any account issues appropriately
  • Conduct billing processes (forecasting, reconciling and invoicing) following compliance guidelines
  • Confidently communicate account performance and actions to planning teams and during client call/meeting attendance as required
  • Support the training and development of PPC Apprentices and Assistants (taking on a mentoring role)
  • Effectively manage and prioritise workloads, negotiate deadlines and liaise with planning teams.


Key criteria applicants must meet:

  • Previous experience managing paid search activity, inc. Google Ads & Microsoft Advertising to best practices
  • Previous experience in reporting and monitoring paid search account performance and communicating this to stakeholders
  • Proven ability to deliver performance to client KPIs and targets
  • Experience managing budgets of min. £10k monthly
  • Competent using Excel inc. pivot tables, sumifs, vlookups etc.

  • Experience using SA360 and implementing bid strategies.
  • Experience managing shopping activity
  • Data Studio/automated reporting competencies e.g. web queries
  • Able to demonstrate personal time management skills and confident prioritising workloads.
  • Has a proactive attitude, shows an enthusiasm for PPC and a desire to learn.
