About the Product team

The product team are responsible for defining and managing media products offered to clients across GroupM agencies. These products cover a full-spectrum of digital and programmatic channels - from video, OOH and social environments to placements within video games and podcasts. The product team are responsible for developing the products based on both the revenue opportunity for the business as well as the value delivered to our customers – with cross-team stakeholder management and requirement gathering a key function of the team.

About the role

The junior product manager will work closely with the product team to deliver innovative media products for GroupM UK. Key responsibilities include assisting the product team with the planning, delivery and marketing of digital advertising products across display, video, audio and other digital and programmatic media channels. The junior product manager will learn and champion product management best practice, helping the product team to move products through the development process.

 

Role requirements

Product best practice – Championing the product development process – helping the product team to deliver products in a consistent and effective way.

Product Development – Assisting the product team with the development of current and new media products.

Documentation – Collaborating with the product team to keep internal and external documentation up to date.

The skills we are looking for

Application of industry & technical knowledge – Working with the product team, learning about the various product areas covered by GroupM P&S and effectively supporting in the development process. Application of previous digital media and/or programmatic knowledge.

Professionalism – having an entrepreneurial working style and working effectively both autonomously and as part of a team is key to this role.

Good communication – The junior product manager will work across multiple product areas, with clear communication being key to success. A successful product is developed collaboratively, so communication across different teams (product, operations, media etc.) is also key.
