JOB TITLE: Account Manager, Paid Search

DEPARTMENT/TEAM: Paid Search

LOCATION: Central St Giles, London

 

Reporting into the Paid Search Account Director in our specialist Paid Search team, your role will be focused around managing a team of Paid Search professionals, dedicated to producing the highest quality of work. You will ensure your team has the necessary tools and skills to maintain the Mindshare best practice approach, ensuring all our clients’ needs are met and expectations exceeded within multi-channel campaigns

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance

  • Leading the planning, creation, and on-going management of Paid Search campaigns.
  • Proactively performing regular optimization of accounts, monitoring market changes and identifying development opportunities.
  • Preparing presentations and leading client calls and face to face meetings
  • Working with the AD to devise campaign strategy and translate this into campaign delivery
  • Monitor client results and delivery against forecast & provide clear strategic direction on how to improve performance.
  • Challenge & interrogate briefs, ensuring delivery is of the highest standard.
  • Build & maintain project and account development plans outlining all key tasks in line with client's overall strategy.
  • Writing case studies of great work delivered by the team

People

  • Collaborating with other digital teams within the FAST hub.
  • Effective in managing others. Delegating and managing workloads across the junior members of the team.

Process

  • Making full use of the technology available, implementing processes and practices that maximize operational efficiencies.
  • Implement and manage client process including analytics, tracking, reporting & finance.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Exceptional hands on Paid Search experience and comprehensive knowledge of best practice.
  • Experience supporting and developing junior team members.
  • Experience managing DR campaigns, optimising accounts to achieve performance targets.
  • An expert in using audiences to optimise Paid Search campaigns
  • Preferable experience applying scripts and automation to optimise and complement campaign management tasks.
  • Proficient with search management platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Search Ads 360 etc.
  • Able to devise a testing approach delivering statistically significant results and insight.
  • Experience working with client leadership, developing day to day client relationships.
  • Analytically minded with good attention to detail, able to identify trends in large data sets.
  • Ability to pre-empt issues and be pro-active in producing solutions.
  • Highly literate in creating and formatting presentations, pivot tables, Excel formulas, creating graphs and tables etc.  
  • 3+ years’ experience in channel working at agencies / clients.
  • 1+ years’ experience in team management and/or mentoring and coaching others.
  • Passionate about the internet and technology, with a keen interest in the development of PPC as a channel, keeping track of new developments within the industry.
