WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Choreograph is seeking a Data Governance Manager – EMEA, based in London, United Kingdom to aid the Global Data Governance Director deploying the industry leading Data Governance Framework across Choreograph. The Data Governance Framework is designed to put in place industry leading practices in the end-to-end management of data. It encompasses Standard Operating Processes including for the vetting and onboarding of new data suppliers and clients and the ingestion of client first party data through to the integration of GroupM Privacy Programme requirements and application of WPP IT Security standards. It ensures the application of full due diligence and evaluation for new products and sets controls to test for compliance with the framework as well as educating employees about the requirements.

We are looking for a Data Governance Manager - EMEA who will work with senior stakeholders and report to Global Data Governance Director and play an important role in implementing the programme across the business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting to Choreograph Data Governance Director your responsibility will be: 

  • Assist Data Governance Director with formalizing the data governance programme
  • Assist to roll out the Data Governance framework within EMEA region and work to achieve control adoption.
  • Set up and operate a tracked system of control checks and remediation monitoring.
  • Perform compliance monitoring of controls as per established protocol.
  • Support Data Governance Director to provide regular, periodic reporting on framework and controls compliance to senior management.
  • Carry out training and education to support the culture of best in class data governance.
  • Answer operational questions on Data Governance process implementation.
  • Serve as escalation point for clarification requests on Data Governance processes.
  • Support and troubleshoot the use of Governance technologies.
  • Own and report on technology access control checks and approvals.
  • Continually seek and implement initiatives to improve operational systems and processes.
  • Maintain close working relationships with Legal, Privacy teams and other key stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED 

  • Proven track record within a multinational data and technology or advertising/media company; or consulting experience in ethics, compliance, business processes, risk management within the fields of data and/or technology.
  • A strong understanding of how media agencies and advertisers use data technology to support their business operations and strategies.
  • Experience working with sensitive/confidential data and legal matters.
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies and methodologies.
  • Validated self-starter with a robust set of problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to balance multiple priorities and manage your own workload.
  • Flexible and resourceful. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • supporting a compliance framework across multiple markets
