Digital Operations Finance Executive

Job Summary:
The Digital Operations Finance Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations related to digital campaigns and services. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely billing, reconciling accounts, managing month-end close processes, and liaising with various teams to ensure financial data integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations within a digital environment and experience with financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks:
- Collation of Unbilled Reports: Gather unbilled reports from Microsoft Dynamics NAV and create Jobs and Cost Estimates (CE’s) for billing purposes.
- Liaison with Agency Teams: Work closely with agency planners, buyers, and the billing team to ensure accurate and complete intercompany billings.
- Manage Financial Processes: Oversee job billing, purchase orders, and payable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Daily Processing Queries: Provide general assistance for daily processing queries, including addressing billing and supplier discrepancies effectively and promptly.
- Campaign Tracking: Track campaigns and reconcile them back to Insertion Orders (IOs) to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Monthly Tasks:
- Month-End Close Procedures: Manage month-end close and cut-off procedures to ensure all financial activities are accurately recorded.
- WIP Review: Conduct monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reviews, resolve queries, and clear debit balances efficiently.
- Job Review and Closure: Regularly review and close jobs in a timely manner to maintain financial order.
- Campaign Stats Analysis: Analyse campaign statistics reports and prepare billing calculations to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Month-End Reporting: Analyse month-end reports, complete billing, and income schedules to assist the Financial Manager in preparation for month-end reporting.
- Journal Accruals: Prepare monthly journal accruals (Nexus GOAT & Adops) to ensure accurate financial statements.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare Nexus GOAT balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Global Reporting: Report monthly financials to the Global Group on SAP BFC Finance, ensuring compliance with global standards.
Audit and Compliance:
- Internal Controls: Ensure the reliability, completeness, and accuracy of data used in the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) to prevent material misstatements.
- Audit Documentation: Prepare, maintain, and archive documentation to satisfy audit and statutory requirements, including SOX controls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in financial operations within a digital or media environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and other relevant financial systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
