The internship
Are you passionate about marketing, events and communication, eager to gain practical experience and ready to take on exciting challenges in the marketing and events world? If so, WPP Media is looking for an intern to join our Nordic marketing team in the fall of 2025 and/or spring 2026. 
As a Marketing and Events intern at WPP Media, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of communication tasks, including newsletters, social media, press releases and producing the Nordic region's largest marketing and tech event, NextM.

  • After completing the internship, you will have a very good understanding of how to work with B2B in a global AI and data-driven media and advertising group and how to create inspiring events on a large scale. 
  • You will have gained valuable insight into several systems relevant to marketing and events: WPP's various AI platforms and agents, Hubspot, Canva, Hootsuite, Confetti and website CMS. 
  • You will have created relationships with several major players in the Nordic marketing and media world. 
 
You will help out with the following: 
  • Help organize the industry-leading event NextM and other B2B events, tackling sponsorship contacts, invites, guest list handling, coordination and research among other things. 
  • Write newsletters, articles, releases, competition submissions and assist with other communication-related tasks 
  • Develop engaging and informative content for social media 
  • Update websites 
  • Analyze social media and CRM efforts 
 Your qualifications: 
  • You are studying at a post high-school level in communication, media or event planning. 
  • You have very strong written and oral communication skills in Swedish and English – you are fluent in both 
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling 
  • You’re proactive and can work both independently and collaboratively with others. 
  • You have a positive attitude and a desire to learn new things 
  • Your internship period is at least 10 weeks long 
  • You are ready to work full-time at our office on Birger Jarlsgatan in Stockholm with some hybrid flexibility  
The internship period is unpaid, but we offer free breakfast twice a week, fruit, great coffee as well as access to various social events and an office gym.
