Overview of job
Work within GOAT Malaysia leading the assigned businesses as the main liaison between the agency and its clients.
Work across multiple social media platforms while ensuring consistency throughout.
Learn and practise the best content, KOL and social media strategies across diverse platforms and various clientele’ in key account management.
 
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Content Planning - Lead

Responsibilities of the role: 
  • Lead, manage and maintain good business relationships with clients and potential clients, which include internal and external clients across GOAT - WPP Media.
  • Assist the Account Lead on the businesses assigned, keep Client on their toes and able to provide strategic inputs to the Clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure the smooth running of day-to-day jobs and campaigns – communicating the correct information/brief to all members of the team, facing clients, timeline management, internal teams management, budget management, co-ordination, community management, content management and reporting. 
  • It is vital to understand the needs of your clients, which you'll learn through liaising closely with them, often on a daily basis.
  • Work closely with the Content and Insights & Analytics teams, attending briefings and strategy sessions, and work with them to build meaningful and relevant content.
  • Use the social tools effectively to generate insightful reports and social audits.
  • Analyze, strategize, ideate and execute.
  • Administrative work – quotations, registrations forms, financial stuffs (ensure quotations are signed & submitted to Finance, follow up on POs and invoices with Clients and/or vendors) 
 
 
What you will need: 
  • A natural passion in people as your daily work will be surrounded by internal and external stakeholders such as your support team in content creation, social listening, internal & external agencies, external media owners, clients, etc.
  • Prefer those with at least 1-2 years experience in a social media agency or creative agency.
  • A deep knowledge of primary social platforms (ie. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X) and new and emerging technologies and their benefits to brand and businesses
  • Possess a natural curiosity and penchant for exploring the ins and outs of social media platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized and excellent attention to detail.
  • Driven, self-motivated, independent, dependable and passionate individual.
  • Willing to work beyond normal working hours when required and/or attending to client’s request or crisis.
  • Excellent proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia is required.
