Reporting of the role
This role reports to: Associate Commercial Director.
The position
- Assist the Associate Commercial Director as Finance Partner and key commercial contact of Business Team Heads
- Provide commercial support on client matters, contract, fee proposal/review, tenders
- Prepare management reporting and analysis on P&L and project financials
- Manage Budget and Forecast processes
- Perform month-end revenue, expenses and project margins review
- Prepare supporting documents for SOX compliance
- Conduct performance/revenue/cost analysis, compile related reports for management’s review, and provide recommendations based on major findings of analysis
- Responsible for all commercial matters including contract negotiations/fee proposal. Ensure that all client contractual obligations are being adhered to and maximize net sales generation and client’s profitability
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
- Support commercial team’s initiatives to enhance workflow efficiencies and accuracy
- Communicate with different stakeholders on the business project to manage issues and meet business and finance objectives
- Identify and define business needs and problems/issues to enable a feasible solution scope to be developed
- Support ad hoc tasks when required
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above, preferably in Business/Commerce/Legal/Finance/Accounting
- Minimum 6 year relevant experience where at least 2-year as supervisory/ managerial level
- Experience in working on or leading projects. Good conceptual knowledge in fee proposal and negotiation, legal contracts review and tax issues would be an advantage
- Prior experience in Marketing Communication/Media/eCommerce would be a plus but not necessary
- Proven problem solver with energetic and dynamic mindset
- Ability to perform multitasks under time pressure
- Well organized and detail-minded to follow through the action points and monitor the progress proactively
- Strong interpersonal, communications, multi-tasking skills and networking capabilities
- Good team player, pro-active, aggressive and result oriented
- Good command in both spoken and written in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Proficiency in MS Office
