Role Summary and Impact
WPP Media is looking for looking for Assistant Manager/Manager – Client Leadership who will be managing the client relationship and help drive digital agenda for the respective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing media strategies for client: work closely with different stakeholders to develop effective media strategies that align with the overall marketing objectives and campaign KPI’s. This includes identifying target audiences, recommending appropriate media channels, innovations and determining the flight pattern, prioritizing the tasks and defining reach & frequency of media plans etc.
- Budget management: Manage the media budget and allocating resources to different media platform based on the campaign goals and KPI aligned with client to maximize the impact and lead on growth of profit management.
- Campaign tracking and analysis: Monitor the performance of media campaigns and analyzing key metrics to assess their effectiveness.
- Lead the core teams and collaborate closely with wider teams and units within the client and WPP Media.
- Client management: Maintain a good relationship and keep clients’ satisfaction on media planning and daily operations.
- Stay current on industry trends: Keep updated about the latest trends and developments in the media industry, including new technologies, consumer behavior and emerging media channels.
- Use this knowledge to inform their media strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
- This role plays a critical role in shaping the success of media campaigns by developing and executing effective media strategies and media KPIs. Possessing strong analytical, strategic and leadership skills to excel in this role.

- Proven strong relationships with clients.
- Keeping abreast of current industry communication/ media thinking in global context.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the patience to examine details and develop solutions.
- Coaching and training skills for team members and various media teams on the client side.
- Collaborative and astute – able to build trust and respect within the network.
- Workflow management - organizational skills; time management; project management; planning and implementation; prioritization; effective delegation.
